Deep tissue, relaxation, hot stone & prenatal — Lambton Quay
Glowe Aesthetics is Wellington CBD's clinical-grade beauty and wellness clinic, with a full massage menu delivered by experienced therapists in a calm, private setting. From a quick lunchtime back-and-shoulder reset to a 90-minute full-body unwind, every session is tailored to where you're carrying tension and what you actually want out of the hour.
We're upstairs at Level 1, Cable Car Lane — walkable from every CBD office, every BNZ, MFAT and MBIE floor, and every Featherston Street law firm. Open Monday to Saturday, with same-week appointments usually available.

A treatment for every reason you walked in — recovery, stress, pregnancy, sleep, mobility, or simply an hour to yourself.
Long, flowing strokes at gentle-to-medium pressure designed to bring the nervous system down. Ideal for stressful weeks, poor sleep, or anyone who needs to actually switch off rather than be "worked on". 60 or 90 minutes.
Firmer, targeted pressure into the deeper muscle layers. Good for tight shoulders from desk work, lower-back tension, calves and hamstrings that are loaded from running or cycling, and post-event recovery. Honest feedback during the session — we'll dial pressure up or down to what your body actually wants.
Recovery and mobility-focused work for active clients — pre-event preparation, post-event flush, or between training blocks. Combines deeper tissue release with stretching and assisted range-of-motion work.
Smooth basalt stones, heated to therapeutic temperature, used alongside hands-on technique. The heat lets us work tension out without needing to dig — particularly good for clients who find deep tissue too intense but still want noticeable release.
Safe, side-lying massage with appropriate support cushions, suitable from the second trimester onwards. Eases the lower back, hips, shoulders and legs — the areas pregnancy loads the hardest. Please tell us your trimester when booking.
Gentle, rhythmic technique that supports the body's lymphatic system. Often booked post-surgery (with clearance), for fluid retention, for clients with sluggish digestion, or as a deep detox-style session. Not a pressure-based treatment — comfort throughout.
Two clients, two therapists, side by side in the same room. Anniversaries, birthdays, the start of a long weekend, or just two people who want the same hour off — we'll set the room up accordingly.
Shorter, targeted sessions for the time-poor. Back and shoulder massage is our lunchtime favourite — 30 minutes, focused on where the desk lives in your body. Reflexology applies pressure to specific points on the feet (or hands) corresponding to the rest of the body — relaxing, restorative, and a popular add-on to a pedicure.
Glowe carries 35 years of skincare and wellness experience through its parent brand, The Finishing Touch. The same hospital-grade hygiene standards we apply to our nail and aesthetic treatments apply here — clean linen on every client, professional-grade oils, and a private room for every session.
Every appointment starts with a short consultation so the therapist knows what you actually want from the hour — pressure preferences, areas to avoid, time on the table, and any health considerations. No script. No upsell. Just an hour built around you.
Beyond massage, Glowe offers a full menu of body wraps and body rituals built around the Pure Fiji range — Coconut Crush Body Glow, Dilo Nourishing Wrap, Sugar Glow, the Perfecting Back Facial and more. Each treatment combines exfoliation, nourishment and deep hydration in a single 60-minute session.
Pair a body wrap with a massage for a true switch-off half-day, or book one as a one-off reset before a holiday, wedding or summer event.

Most of our full-body massages run for 60 minutes. A 90-minute Full Body option is also available for clients who want a longer, deeper session. Targeted treatments — back and shoulder, foot reflexology — are shorter, typically 30 to 45 minutes.
Relaxation massage uses long, flowing strokes at gentle to medium pressure — ideal for stress, recovery and switching off. Deep tissue works into the deeper muscle layers with firmer, targeted pressure — better suited to tight shoulders, lower-back tension and post-training recovery. If you're new to massage and unsure, start with relaxation and we can step up the pressure during the session if you want more.
Yes — our prenatal massage is safe for clients in their second and third trimester and is performed in a side-lying position with appropriate support cushions. We recommend booking after the 12-week mark. Please let us know your trimester when you book so we can prepare the room and adjust the session.
Massage at Glowe starts from $64 for a back-and-shoulder treatment. Full body relaxation is $120, deep tissue and sports are $140, hot stone is $149, and a 90-minute full body is $180. Couples massage (two people, side by side) is $240. See the full pricing list on this page.
Yes — we're upstairs at Level 1, Cable Car Lane, 284 Lambton Quay, walkable from every CBD office. A 30-minute back-and-shoulder massage fits comfortably into a lunchtime slot. We recommend booking the day before to secure a midday time.
For ongoing maintenance and stress management, once a fortnight to once a month works well for most clients. For active injury or muscular issues, we typically suggest weekly for 3 to 4 sessions then taper to maintenance. We'll talk you through what suits your goals during your first visit.
You don't need to bring anything — we provide fresh linen, towels and professional-grade oils. You'll undress to your comfort level (most clients keep underwear on) and stay covered with a sheet throughout the session, with only the area being worked on exposed. Showers aren't on site, so plan accordingly if you have meetings straight after.
