We treat the standard upper-face areas — forehead lines, frown lines (the "11s" between the brows), and crow's feet — with a conservative, natural-results-first approach. The most commonly treated areas at Glowe are the upper face — forehead lines, the vertical "11s" between the brows, and lateral crow's feet around the eyes. These three regions usually require 20 to 50 units in total at the first visit, depending on muscle strength and what you want addressed.
Less common but available on request: a "lip flip" for a softer upper lip, masseter (jaw-slimming) injections, and underarm Botox for hyperhidrosis. These are quoted individually during consultation.

Pricing is by units of Botox used. We confirm exact units during consultation so there are no surprises. A typical first treatment of forehead, frown lines and crow's feet combined is in the 30–50 unit range.

In New Zealand, both Registered Nurses and Doctors are legally authorised to administer Botox under a medical prescription. The advantage of an experienced RN injector is volume — they often perform more injections per week than a GP would, which can mean better technique and a more refined eye for placement. At Glowe, all injectables are performed by a Registered Nurse.
$300 for 20 units, $750 for 50 units, $1,500 for 100 units. Typical first treatments use 20 to 50 units depending on the areas — forehead and frown lines together usually fall around 30 to 40 units. We'll confirm exact units during your consultation.
Most clients see results for three to four months. With consistent treatment, the muscles soften over time and you may find you need slightly less product per session, or can extend the gap between top-ups.
No. Our approach is conservative and natural — we'd rather under-dose and have you back for a top-up at two weeks than over-do it on a first visit. Most clients report softening of fine lines while retaining full facial expression.
Results begin appearing in 3 to 5 days and reach full effect at around 14 days. We schedule any complimentary top-ups at the 2-week review point.
